During Fall, 2010 John ‘JimmyLegs’ Wray initiated a virtual proposal that was open to be signed by anybody who supported Huggins to become Loose Cannon on the next Big Game show. Thousands subscribed, including poker stars like Daniel Negreanu and Justin ‘BoostedJ’ Smith. After uploading his audition video, his featuring in the next season of the show was taken for granted, but now PokerStars rejected the idea.
“I got an email from PokerStars yesterday informing me that I was not selected to compete as a Loose Cannon on next season’s PokerStars Big Game. I wasn’t given any specific reason why I wasn’t selected, but I was thanked for trying out. TwoPlusTwo.com, thank all of you for supporting me and showing me love. To be loved was a dream come true for me. I'm convinced that love cures most illness,” Huggins wrote at 2+2, as cited by JimmyLegs.

Of course, this was shocking for the community; many express their disapproval of the decision. Daniel Negreanu wrote the following: “Just saw this and am absolutely shocked. I have no idea why he wasn't chosen. I know that FOX investigates contestants backgrounds, looking for any criminal past, etc. but I've got no clue why they wouldn't pick him. Sorry to all those that supported Jared, I was one of them.”
It is indeed hard to tell why PokerStars turned down the offer. The popular Huggins would most probably have attracted audience to the show; we really cannot see any cons of contracting him.
