Why did you decide to accept the challenge?
I like challenges and I think this is an incredible test both physically and mentally. It would be a thrilling experience to fight in Las Vegas, the homeland of UFC and MMA, I cannot really imagine anything bigger than this!
What kinds of fighting do you do? Since when?
It hasn’t been long since I started MMA training but I had already had the basics, training Ju-Jitsu before. I really love it; you’ve got to try it!
Robl did not mention a weight class but he is unlikely to fight Fedor Emelianenko, for example. What is your class?
I am 180 centimeters tall [5 feet 11 inches] and I weigh 81 kilograms [c. 176.4 lbs], but I can lose some weight if I need to.
Robl and Mizzi would have bet $50,000. How much money are you willing to risk?
This amount is appropriate for me, too.
You participated in last year’s WSOP, you finished ITM in one of the $1,000 NLHE events. You are going this year as well; is this when the fight would take place?
Yes, I spent over a month in Las Vegas last summer and I plan to do so this year as well. The fight would be at the time of the championship and I’m sure many poker enthusiasts would be interested.
Since there is no official confirmation of the fight with ‘good2cu’ as yet, you cannot give any details. Still, what are your expectations of the conditions of the match?
Well, if the MMA regulations are to be followed then we will have 3x3 minutes or 2x5 minutes rounds, 3 judges and techniques allowed in the regulations [for the MMA regulations, click here].
If Robl is OK with the fight, how are you planning to prepare?
My honoured master, Kensei Tamas Pospischil will be training me in the next two months.
What about the civil life of ‘d0npelo’?
I’m 25, I study Economics and Management at Corvinus University of Budapest. I’m an MTT player and, together with one of my poker buddies, we have just started a business. I am into sports and partying.
How successful poker player are you?
I’m a winning player at low and mid-stakes tournaments.
Thank you for the interview, and we wish you luck.
Thank you for the opportunity and the trust. I hope Andrew accepts the challenge, in which case we'll have a very exciting summer.
As soon as the agreement is made between ‘d0npelo’ and ‘good2cu,’ we will keep you posted.
