As we reported, Galfond entered a major downswing last November, losing $1,859,841 until this March, especially due to his draw play which he started to study more closely in the second half of 2010. His work seems to start to pay off, however, as he won all his money back in only a month.

Gus Hansen finished on the top of the profit list both in January and February. He continued to perform outstandingly during March, finishing second this time with $1,511,085. He absolutely ruled the PLO field, profiting $2,812,443, but he also was the greatest loser in draw with - $1,301,358.

The third top finisher was Phil Ivey, earning a total sum of $901,730. He did his usual thing, playing few but well enough so as to win close to $1 million. His profit in FL was $431,905, in draw $357,930 and an additional $211,895 in PLO; what is missing, he lost in NLHE.

The fish of the month turned out to be Scott ‘URnotINdanger2’ Palmer, who lost $990,207 on FTP in addition to a -$206,947 on PokerStars under his screen name ‘urnotindangr’.
