The iPoker Network's top tier room MyBet Poker officially announced that they are joining forces with the Ongame Network. MyBet has been in a successful business relationship with the owner of Ongame, Amaya Gaming (MyBet Casino even started business on Amaya's platform back in 2005), which might be a reason behind the change.
Players of the MyBet.COM and the MyBet.IT domains are all affected, but according to MyBet, players can still play at iPoker for at least a year, the move is expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2014.
Exclusive Rakerace.com promotions will still run unaffected by the events in 2013.
"This is a strategic relationship for both parties, Amaya’s casino games have proven to be not only highly popular but also very profitable. Switching to Ongame Poker and adding Amaya’s Live Dealer enables us to improve both customer satisfaction and profitability." said Mathias Dahms, MyBet's CEO.
As MyBet published the press release, their stocks went up a half percent.
The iPoker Network is currently 3rd in PokerScout's .COM traffic top list. Ongame is 12th on the list, but Amaya is committed to change that for the better. As we reported, our partners InterPoker and PokerHeaven also joined the Ongame Network recently.
