Premium iPoker skin William Hill Poker has announced the implementation of its latest software update. The release comes with numerous improvements to the client, featuring the latest ones rolled out by the network in September: “We are happy to announce our latest software version, packed with lots of exciting new features! Here's what’s in store for you,” a William Hill press release reads.
Widgets Bar: the entirely new tool incorporates a number of popular features into the poker table screen itself. With just one click, you can play casino Mini Games, set up or change the look of your table through Theme Cloud, remain up to date with the latest news from the world of poker via the News Feed or view the Tournament Lobby information when playing an MTT. The bar appears on the right-hand side of the table and can be activated by clicking on it. When not needed, it automatically disappears after 20 seconds.
Time Bank in Cash Games: as in tournaments, you will now have the opportunity to ask for extra time when it is your turn to act and you face a difficult decision. The Time Bank is activated after the regular turn time expires or if it is your turn to act but you are disconnected.
Re-entry Tournaments: you are now able to re-register to a tournament from which you have been eliminated during the late registration period. Available in all tournaments, except for shootouts and heads-up rematches, some will allow more or less re-entries but you can only have one active entry at a time. The feature has been added to both Sit n Gos and Multi-table Tournaments and you can filter such games in the lobby.
Multi-entry Tournaments: register to the same tournament more than once and multi-table a single tournament! This is the only legal way of “multi-accounting” and you can significantly increase your chances of winning by sitting at more than one table at the same time, each entries having its own stack and hand, up until the point when you have more active entries than tables left in the tournament; then, two or more of your entries are merged. The special tournaments can be filtered in the lobby and you will find the number of allowed entries under the Properties and Details tabs. There are both Sit n Gos and Multi-Table Tournaments offered in this format.
Late Registration for Sit n Gos: from now on, the popular feature of Multi-table Tournaments is also available for Sit n Gos; instead of having to wait for the next game to fill up, you can join a tourney that has already started.
Toast Notifications: even if your tables are minimized and you focus on other activities, this new tool enables you to keep up with the game, also when you play several tables or have multiple entries in a multi-entry tournament. A small pop-up window appears whenever there is action you have enabled the client to notify you about, like you are dealt a new hand, the community cards hit the board or it is your turn to act. You can also decide and act using the pop-up action buttons (with limited functionality: you can only check, call, fold or go all-in), you can double-click the window to restore the table or disregard and close it. The feature supports Hold’em and Omaha cash games and tournaments.
New Avatars: several new characters and flags have been added to the William Hill Poker client. Once updated, it assigns a random one to you and you can change it anytime in the Settings menu under the Avatar tab.
