PartyPoker Reintroduces Table Selection in New Jersey Client

With the latest update, PartyPoker reintroduced the feature of table selection to its New Jersey client. In the lobby, individual cash game tables can now be ungrouped by unchecking the Group Tables checkbox. The new PartyPoker client lacked such an option before; only stakes were available and players would automatically be seated at a random table, specifically to keep regulars from “hunting” for recreational players.
The software was designed to serve the interests of the latter player group by making it simpler and faster to join the game at the stakes of their choice without the fear of regulars specifically targeting them. According to the company, random seating is offering “the fairest gameplay,” yet regulars should also be allowed to avoid other players if they want to, hence the reintroduced table selection.

Since the Palladium Elite VIP status has also returned, PartyPoker is apparently opening up for the shunned regulars and higher volume players to boost traffic and player liquidity, as PokerFuse.om reports.
