The Regular Season of the Global Poker League stopped before the World Series of Poker but there was still plenty of action this summer.
The Summer Series portion of the League ran between June 6 - July 8 in Las Vegas with live heads-up clashes, which were filmed by Mediarex in the Cube, the GPL's special sound-proofed studio.

Eurasia conference
London Royals: 97 points
Moscow Wolverines: 92 points
Hong Kong Stars: 91 points
Paris Aviators: 86 points
Berlin Bears: 74 points
Rome Emperors: 63 points
Americas conference
Montreal Nationals: 106 points
LA Sunset: 95 points
New York Rounders: 87 points
Sao Paulo Mets: 82 points
San Francisco Rush: 69 points
Las Vegas Moneymakers: 65 points
In the Eurasia conference the most successful team was the Rome Emperors, who gathered 33 points, but this was still only enough to get them into 5th place.
In the Americas conference, Montreal Nationals and LA Sunset both gathered 39 points during the Summer Series, which puts them well ahead of the pack overall.
