As we reported last year, partypoker's parent company, GVC Holding, acquired Coral Poker and Ladbrokes Poker. As the site remained a member of the iPoker network since then, the players didn't experience significant changes. Up until now.
GVC now announced that Coral Poker will shut down on the iPoker on December 4, and the players will be moved to partypoker later this month.
Players will still be able to access their Coral Poker accounts after the migration, with their balances untouched, but their bonus points will disappear, so we recommend all Coral Poker players to cash their points in until 23:59 on 3rd December 2019.
“This will bring a number of huge benefits to Coral players who will now have access to partypoker’s larger liquidity pool and the network’s popular and diverse tournament schedule, all while enjoying the superior playing experience on our leading software which has seen partypoker named Poker Operator of the Year for three years running,” they added.
Ladbrokes players are expected to be moved to partypoker in Q1 2020.
These changes will suddenly increase the player traffic at partypoker, while decrease iPoker's liquidity. However, the network announced, RedStar Poker will join them next May, with additional MPN members alike.
