This may be troubling to hear for PokerStars. Recently the users on one of the most popular poker results tracking site, the Hendon Poker Database have been encountering little pop-ups where they are asked how they perceive the PokerStars brand in 2017 - a survey like that is probably indicates that all the badmouthing of Stars online, brought on mainly by the changes that effect negatively the high-volume winning regulars, has reached the threshold of response for the poker room's leadership.
It's a whole different atmosphere over at the partypoker offices, however.
“A combination of factors are behind the impressive growth including product development, increased marketing, localized market focus and improved player experience" - told GVC Chief Executive Kenneth Alexander to Poker Industry PRO about the reasons behind the impressive numbers they produced.
