In 2017, partypoker set a goal of becoming the safest and most fair online poker room while also creating a healthy, sustainable ecology at their tables.
They made numerous changes in the past years, much to the delight of the players' and don't seem to slow down on improving their service.
They now announced two significant changes that affect the sit-and-go players and the tournament grinders.
Reduced Rake for SNG games
Similarly to Unibet Poker's recent announcement, partypoker decided to drop the rake in the sit-and-go games, the biggest decrease was made in the micro-stakes games. The $1 Turbo 6-max buy-in level now comes with a 5-cent rake, while it used to be 7 cents earlier.
However, the small-stakes players are not the only ones who can be happy about the announcement, as it includes all buy-in levels, including the high-stakes games.
The $5,000 buy-in saw another massive cut, with the fee dropping down to 1.5% instead of the original 2%.
Partypoker also added many new tournaments to the daily schedule, aiming at the lower-stakes players, with affordable buy-ins between $2.20 and $77.
To decrease the average duration of these events, they come with two differences compared to the regular tournaments.
Each of them has a late registration period of about an hour, and there is only one re-entry allowed per player.
These changes have been made to make these MTTs more playable for the recreational, who can't offer staying up too late to play poker each day.
Daily Legends tournaments include The Flash, The HeadHunter, The Magnificent 7, The Target, The Blade, The Terminator, The Predator, The Triple Barrel, The Gladiator, The Magnificent 77, The Masters, The Five Diamond, The Classic, The Ocean's, The Mini One-Shot: or any "super" variation of these tournaments.
