Partypoker Grand Prix Spring Festival is Here

Partypoker announced its new Grand Prix Spring Festival, running from the 16th of March to the 13th of April. There are 12 events scheduled with over $3 million in prize pools across these events. Partypoker offers everything from PKOs, multi-day events and Omaha tourneys to special Ultra KOs, short stacks, and Battles. Below, we explore what this festival offers poker players.

Kick Off the Festival with Grand Events

The partypoker festival starts with a bang with three openers. Each event runs until the 20th of March, after which players can start Omaha tournaments. The prize pools go up to $75,000.

The #1 PKO Opener event has a $33 buy-in and a $75,000 reward, while the #2 PKO Opener has a $5.50 buy-in and a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool. The last one of the trio, the #3 PKO Opener, features a $2,500 reward with a $1.10 buy-in.

Three Main Events

All three events have a 100,000 starting stack and use an eight-minute clock, with blinds starting at 400/800/100a. Main, Mini Main, and Micro Main Event are available, with buy-in ranging from $55 to as low as $2.20. The Micro Main Event guarantees a prize of $10,000, while the Mini Main Event has a $50,000 prize pool.

Meanwhile, the Main Event boasts a significant prize of $250,000! This match is the highest-awarding event in the festival, with a $55 buy-in. All three events run until the 3rd of April and feature 19 flights feeding into the second day.

Other Tourneys

Players enjoying Pot-Limit Omaha will be glad to see six events featuring Pot-Limit Omaha and Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo matches, running from the 20th to the 27th of March. You can also join the PLO Championships that start after the PLO8 PKO events end.

Besides the PLO8 PKO events, there are also fun, themed events, specifically the Sunday Party, which awards a $150,000 guaranteed prize and the Sunday Carnival, with a $50,000 prize.
