Unibet has announced that it’ll complete an overhaul of its popular Hexapro lottery-style Sit and Go games. These games already differed from the industry’s norm, which we explore below. However, the new changes will overhaul how players experience the game, especially high rollers.
HexaPro’s Evolution
Unibet was late to the scene with its lottery sit-and-go game when it entered in 2018. While its core remains a three-handed, winner-takes-all tournament, it offered a lower variance pay table than others.
Instead of a 10,000x top prize, it capped its prize at 1,000x. It also set its lowest multiplier at 1.5x the buy-in instead of the industry standard 2x. Two years after introducing this game, Unibet debuted a faster version called the HexaPro Banzai.
Another two years later, the brand shelved Banzai for the Extreme version. This version offers even faster gameplay and gives players a better probability of hitting high multipliers.
HexaPro High Roller
Currently, there are the HexaPro and HexaPro Extreme versions of this game. However, the High Roller edition will join the lineup with the upcoming overhaul.
The €50 and €100 buy-ins will become exclusive to the High Roller edition in this upgrade. Along with implementing this change, the structure will also change.
Multiplier Probabilities
One of the primary changes players will see is that the lowest multiplier for this edition isn’t 1.5x anymore. The brand increased it to the industry-standard 2x multiplier, which increases the probability of landing the 2x multiplier from 56.294% to 58.191%.
This change in the lowest multiplier also affects the probability of the other multipliers. The 3x multiplier has increased its probability of landing from 25% to 30%. However, the probability of landing the 5x multiplier has seen a remarkable decrease from a 14% chance to just a 2.50% chance.
The brand also removed the 25x multiplier and added a 4x multiplier. However, the probability of landing 10x multipliers dropped from 4.6% to 4%.
Other Significant Changes
Prizes distributed with the 10x multiplier are no longer following a winner-takes-all structure. The first-place player will take 8x, while the second and third-place players will take 1x each.
While the regular HexaPro’s rake will remain at 6.853%, the brand will reduce the rake for the High Roller’s edition to 6%. It remains a competitive rake compared to the industry standard of 7%.
The interface will also receive a slight upgrade. Table aesthetics and lottery colours will be refreshed, and a buy-in slider will navigate to the new edition. The High Roller edition will be available under the sub-menu of the overall game.
The final change is tweaking the game pace. Blinds escalate at lower rates of 2x every two minutes instead of each minute. For 5x and 10x multipliers, the blinds will escalate in three-minute intervals, while 100x multipliers and higher will see four-minute intervals.
