As we wrote earlier, after Full Tilt Poker's license was suspended by the AGCC due to the violation of their rules, FTP entered negotiations with the licensing company, but also another one, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission trying to acquire a new license. This was cofirmed by the the AGCC earlier today, who published the following statement to their website, www.gamblingcontrol.org:
"Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) is in discussions, all be at an early stage, with its licensees trading as Full Tilt Poker and a third party concerning the prospective refinancing of Full Tilt Poker.
The objective of these discussions is to enable the site to re-open to its current and prospective players."
By this, the AGCC declared their will to give the license back to Full Tilt Poker (probably as soon) as they are ready to pay their U.S. customers, which can only be achieved by a prospective refinancing. This is of course good news to FTP players, but as discussions are at a very early stages, not much is certain at this point.
We will be back with more info on the Full Tilt Poker matter as is available.
