EPT Vienna Starts Today

The Vienna stop of EPT7 has launched today at the Kursalon Palace in the capital of Austria. It is the second time the <a href="http://www.pokerstars.com/ept/" title="PokerStars EPT7">PokerStars European Poker Tour</a> visits the Middle-European country; in 2005, French Pascal ‘Triple P’ Perrault managed to win the event, earning €184,500.

The €5,300 event this year is expected to attract even more players than it did in 2005: back then, 297 players registered, while now it is already a field of 209 and the registration remains open until day 1B (Wednesday). As far as international pros are concerned, here is a list of some who have already paid the buy-in: Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Daniel Negreanu, Luca Pagano, JP Kelly, Arnaud Mattern, Pierre Neuville, Dario Minieri, Johannes Strassman, Pieter De Korver, Kevin MacPhee, Tomer Berda and Alex Kravchenko.
