The 6-handed final table of the WPT LAPC $10,000 Main Event took place this week with a spectacular line-up: Dan ‘djk123’ Kelly, David ‘Doc Sands’ Sands, Jason Somerville and Noah Schwartz all made it to the finale:

Play started at blind Level 28 (10,000/30,000/60,000) and it was WSOP champion Somerville to lose his stack first. Next out was Jason Burt, at the very same level and despite previously doubling up on Schwartz, who was eliminated as well, if a bit later. At Level 30 (10,000/50,000/100,000), the 3-handed play was over with Kelly finishing in 3rd place after a flip.
Sands managed to remain in the lead until as late as the end of Level 31 (20,000/60,000/120,000), where he lost his edge in yet another flip, his queens meeting Jazayeri’s AK on a board with an ace. He pushed his remaining 2,580,000 in chips a couple of minutes later with
