Jens "Jeans89" Kyllönen is doing great at the high stakes tables this year, having led the profit list for quite a long time, and currently being placed fourth with a profit of $1,109,215. The young PLO specialist has also proven his abilities in tourneys, his biggest success so far being a first place at the 2009 EPT Copenhagen. His all-time tourney winnings make $1,393,900.

Kyllönen would like to increase his all-time results at this years WSOP, and has decided to take part in the million dollar tourney. He announced this in an interview given to the Finnish magazine Pokerisivut.
Why have you decided to register to the tourney?
I'm doing quite well this year, I have won a lot, and they might never organize such a big event again. I am paying for my whole buy-in, but I might be selling percentages later on. The field will be good, and I also like the fact that part of the buy-in will be spent on charity. But I confess that the greatest motivation for me is that by reaching good results at this tourney, I could take the lead from Juha Helppi on the all-time Finnish live tourney list. (Note from the editor: according to the Hendon Mob, it is not Juha Helppi but Patrik Antonius that is leading the list with $5,328,713, while Helppi is second with $4,411,194).
What is your opinion on the players that registered so far?
Quite a lot of amateurs have registered, which is a very good thing. I also like to play against businessmen because they usually are great personalities. Besides the amateurs, there will be some weaker pros in the field as well, and this also means +EV.
The tournament will be a part of poker history, thanks to the huge buy-in. How do you think the size of the buy-in will influence gameplay?
It will definitely have an effect on the game, especially in the bubble period, as great rewads come after.
What other WSOP tourneys will you take part in?
I think I will be fighting for a bracelet in the $10,000 PLO championship, but apart from these, I will handle my two weeks there as if I was on vacation. I never really wnated to come to the WSOP this year, but the Big One made me change my mind.
Organizers of the Big One will allow 48 players to register to the tourney, and according to the news there are still nine places left.
