WSOP 2013 - Event #19 - Davidi Kitai Onto Second Triple Crown

At the WSOP Event #19 - $5,000 Pot Limit Hold'em tournament, 16 players will still in play on the 3rd day. Jesse Martin held the chiplead with 402,000 followed by the WSOP, EPT and WPT champion Davidi Kitai, who had 318,000. There were also a few big names at the tables including Dan "djk123" Kelly, Dario Minieri, Dimitar Danchev, Kevin Vandersmissen, Eugene Katchalov, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Matt Marafioti.

Marafioti finished 16th, Vandermissen 14th, Dan Kelly 12th, the others made it to the final table.

Chris Johnson finished 9th, followed by 2008 WSOP $2,500 NLHE champion Minieri. The Italian pro shoved on the 23rd blind level (10,000/20,000) with 64,000, the PCA 2013 Main Event champion Danchev called.

Dancev won with an ace high.

A few hands later Grospellier had to leave; he lost with a Q-J hand to Katchalov's pocket kings. Kristina Holst followed suit, she lost the majority of her stack to Katchalov, then her pocket nines were no match against Cary Katz's queens.

The heads-up a formulated yet another hands later, when Danchev opened to 48,000 from the button (24th blind leve, 12,000/24,000), Vincento Bartello went all-in, Kitai called, Danchev all-in called.

Dancev finished 4th, Bartello 3rd.

Katz managed to even out in the heads-up, and soon the game was over. Kitai raised to 60,000 (25th blind level, 15,000/30,000), Katz 3bet to 160,000, Kitai 4bet to 360,000, Katz shoved, Kitai called.

Only 5 players managed to get the live tournament Triple Crown (WSOP, EPT, WPT championship titles), Gavin Griffin, Roland de Wolfe, Jake Cody, Bertrand Grospellier and Kitai. The Belgian pro stepped on the way to a second Triple Crown with this victory.
