A total of 282 players entered the first two event days of the €4,250 Tallinn Main Event, the first stop of the 8th Season of the PokerStars European Poker Tour. Only 92 of them, however, were dealt into the first hand of Day 1A, including Arnaud Mattern, Pierre Neuville, David Vamplew, Praz Bansi, Martin Jacobson, Joe Ebanks, JP Kelly and Luca Pagano.

The 190 players who paid the buy-in for Day 1B included yet another set of international poker celebrities: EPT7 Tallinn champion Kevin Stani, John Eames, Per Linde, Toby Lewis, Annette Obrestad, Dmitry Stelmak, Michael Tureniec, Sami Kelopuro and Jani Sointula, among others.

Spanish Oscar Lima managed to build the largest stack, both on the event day and overall. He leads the field of the remaining 198 players at the beginning of Day 2 with 132,000 in chips. Top 10 Day 1B finishers are below:
