The Euro 2016 starts this weekend and several online poker providers have launched their own football related promotions to celebrate the kickoff.
Last week we wrote about the promotions organized by Betsson, Unibet Poker and the iPoker network and today we will take a look at Partypoker's and the Microgaming network's offers for the duration of the football championship.
Blazing Cannon Football Edition
The Blazing Cannon promotion debuted three years ago on the Microgaming network, aiming to spark interest in the network's new format, Blaze Poker and the network decided to bring back the popular promotion for the duration of the Euro 2016.
Each time a player wins 20 raked hands at the Blaze Poker tables, they will be brought to a mini-game where a player takes a penalty kick with a blazing football. Players can win cash prizes of €1, €10 or €100 depending on how the penalty kick goes.
Summer Shootout at Partypoker
Partypoker will be running a two-part promotion that focuses on bringing their poker players to the sportsbook and vice versa.
Players who play at least one cash game hand each day will get a free opportunity to predict the result of a Euro 2016 match. Players who guess correctly will receive a so called "Click Card" the following day.
The Click Card will reward players with a free sports bet, a free tournament ticket or a cash prize.
Players need to log in to the Partypoker client each day to get their Click Cards, which can be used for three days after being claimed.
The other part of the Euro 2016 promotion is called Second Shot. Players that have placed a bet of at least $5 on a Euro 2016 match with even (or worse) odds and lost will receive a $5.50 tournament ticket as a consolation prize.
The first bet of each day will qualify for a ticket and players have five days to use their ticket.
Other central and exclusive promotions
Partypoker and Microgaming are also running various other promotions this summer. Betsson, our partner room in the Microgaming network is giving away roughly €100,000 at the poker tables and Partypoker is running a massive $1,000,000 Summer Giveaway Leaderboard.
