Anderson is likely to have mixed feelings about this year’s WSOP, as he managed to scoop in six ITM finishes but no major scores. Following the championship, he returned to Mexico to resume playing online. He expressed his excitement via his Twitter:
“Its been 2 months...I Can't express how excited I am to play online this Saturday and Sunday” – Anderson tweeted.
According to P5s, Anderson only played on Sunday, the 21st, which was apparently still enough for him to retake his position as Number 1 online MTT player of the world. The US pro won a $33 NLHE Turbo tournament for $2,233 and finished 2nd in a $109 NLHE Turbo Cubed 1R1A game for $15,554. He now has 8,266 rank points, leading slightly ahead of Pessagno (8,210 points).
The 3rd position of the list is occupied by ‘Legenden’, while Matt ‘mjw006’ Wakeman climbed up from 5th position to 4th during last week; the Australian player has reached some remarkable achievements in the past days, especially in Ongame tournaments. This is his best ever online MTT money list rank. The 5th position is now belonging to Swedish pro ‘eisenhower1’, who most lately won Full Tilt Poker’s T-Rex tournament for $9,053.
