PokerStars dominated the flow of news in April: first, they launched an attack on data mining site Poker Table Ratings, claiming they infringe the intellectual property rights of the room and breach their terms and conditions. Later, PTR gave in and deleted all information concerning PokerStars players.

Incredible news surfaced on the Full Tilt Poker aquisition: while the long negotiations with the Bernard Tapie Group eventually failed, news began to spread that PokerStars might purchase the room. Later, these news would prove to be true and lead to the long anticipates re-launch of Full Tilt Poker.
