The 21 year-old high stakes specialist, however, has improved a lot, and 2010 brought him the breakthrough: he has won the yearly high stakes crown with a massive profit of $5,503,296 (145,212 hands).
Of course, jungleman12 dominated in NLHE and became the best in this game type with $3,519,502 (105,917 hands). His other winnings came from PLO ($1,353,855 in 32,990 hands) and mixed games ($632,939 in 6305 hands).
The second place on the high stakes yearly profit list has been taken by the Norwegian high stakes player Andreas ’Skjervoy’ Tobergsen with $3,778,763 won in 43,504 hands. Skjervoy only played PLO.
A fun fact: Skjervoy’s performance was not enough to be the most profitable PLO player, as Tom ’durrrr’ Dwan won $4,446,164 in PLO, but he was not as successful in the other game types.
