Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamies
The real action, however, started on 7th September when ‘socutiesf’ appeared at the $100/$200 PLO tables and instantly lost a bigger amount to ‘Ziggy.' ’Socutiesf,’ who more than likely went to tilt, moved to $200/$400 where the biggest online high stakes action commenced since Black Friday. Several six figures pots were exchanged, including the biggest ever at PokerStars: one of $421,000 that went to ‘Ziigmund’.
Sahamies won a total of $541.000 in the session, Phil ‘MrSweets28’ Galfond took $369,000 and even ‘socutiesf’ managed to turn his daily account to +EV, finishing up $113,000. Surprisingly, the biggest loser of the day turned out to be PLO pro Andreas ‘Skjervoy’ Tobergsen with -$652,000.
In the second week of the month, ‘Ziigmund’ ended up on the top of the daily profit lists twice, with a total of five times so far in September.
The biggest winner of August, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom does not manage nearly so well, however; he has lost $635,628 so far in September, despite not participating in the aforementioned $200/$400 PLO session. He has been seen at unusually low stakes tables as well lately, at $5/$10, $3/$6, $2/$4 and even $1/$2.
