Victory Poker Launches on the Cake Network

<a href="http://www.rakerace.com/news/poker-rooms/victory-poker-leaves-everleaf-network/">As we have previously reported</a>, Victory Poker officially joined the Cake Network on the 1st September. The transition went down, and Victory Poker players can already download the brand new platform.

The transition was not completely smooth, as yesterday, visitors were greeted by the following message on Victory Poker's webiste:

Today, if we view the Victory Poker website, we are already able to download the new Victory Poker client, and we are promised to have the site up in a couple of hours.

The transition will definitely have an effect on the whole Cake Network. Victory Poker will probably bring tons of new players to Cake, and Cake desperately needs this, as their player base has been on the wane for the past few months. This was mainly because two of its main sites (PlayersOnly, Sportsbook) departed from the network this spring. According to PokerScout, the number of players has dropped by around 50% in the last 6 months.

With Victory Poker having joined them, Cake willl once again have the opportunity to be among the top 10 poker networks.
