We have heard endless amounts of information and rumors (some true, some not) since it has been announced on the 30th September that the Groupe Bernard Tapie (GBT) acquired FTP. This press release already contained a confusing sentence: "This agreement, which includes the repayment of Full Tilt Poker’s world-wide players in full, is subject to several conditions [...]" which in fact means, that only some sort of a pre-agreement has been signed, which does not provide 100% security for the players FTP owes money.
This is the reason why Subject:Poker tried to find out in what stage the deal is at the moment and what the players can expect. They talked with Ben Dayanim, lawyer of GBT executive Laurent Tapie, who proved everything he could with papers.
