Bonnier Group Purchases Redbet

Nordic Leisure AB has sold Redbet Gaming to Danish-owned Bonnier Group.

Bonnier Group, a media conglomerate operated by the Danish Bonnier family from its Stockholm headquarters in Sweden, has announced the acquisition of Redbet Gaming from Nordic Leisure AB. This covers the Redbet, Whitebet, Heypoker and Total Poker skins, Pokerfuse.com reports.

“We are proud and excited that the acquisition is underway... Redbet has long been going strong in the Nordic market,” Marcus Forsell, Chief Executive Officer of Bonnier Gaming, “a culturally progressive, humanistic company with a belief in the power of the individual and freedom of speech.”

Bonnier Group is an international media conglomerate present in 18 countries. They now operate Redbet, which has recently abandoned the Entraction network, shut down in late 2012, and moved to offer its services on the Ongame platform.
