The first ever PokerAkademia Open is taking place from 21 to 23 February, 2014 at the Montesino Vienna. The Main Event is a €550 NLHE tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of a staggering €100,000!
Due to the enormous interest in the festival, organisers added two live satellites to the schedule, complementing the series of online qualifiers, as well as two more side events.
Details of the live satellites are as follows:
The Super Satellite with a guaranteed prize pool of fifteen €550 tickets runs on Thursday, 20 February from 19:00 CET. The buy-in is €25 and players are eligible for re-buy and add-on, for €20 each.
On Friday, 21 February, a Turbo Satellite takes place from 14:00 CET. The €35 tournament guarantees three €550 tickets in the prize pool. Participants are allowed to re-enter once.

Details of the side events are as follows:
In addition to the main event, a €60 NLHE tournament has always been part of the schedule as well; on the organisers' decision, this side event now has a guaranteed prize pool of €8,000! In addition, two more tourneys are added to the festival programme, a €20 and a €30 NLHE event.
The €20 NLHE tournament kicks off at 13:00 CET on 23 February with a starting stack of 20,000 and 15 minutes blind levels. On the same day, the €30 NLHE tournament launches at 19:00 CET with a starting stack of 50,000 and 10 minutes blind levels.

Apart from the live satellites to the PokerAkademia Open main event, online qualifiers keep running until as late as 10 February. Satellites have been offered by eight individual online poker rooms through the past months, two tournaments in each. Of the total of 16, 5 still remain so there is still a chance for you to secure your place for just €1!
