Hallaert will be joining the company as a tournament director at the Unibet Open tournaments, check out the details below!
34-year old Belgian Kenny Hallaert is one of the main favorites of this year's WSOP Main Event final table. He will start the finale fourth in chips, he sits in a good seat and he has a vast amount of experience both online and in live tournaments.
It's no surprise that Hallaert has signed with a poker room, but what's interesting that he was signed as a tournament director for the Unibet Open tournaments.
Hallaert recently said in an interview that despite his success at the poker tables, he still rathers considers himself a tournament director then a professional poker player. Hallaert has been working as a tournament director for a smaller series called Poker Challenge (BPC) which was organized by the Grand Casino de Namur.
Hallaert was very happy about his deal with Unibet Poker:
''I'm very happy to become a part of the Unibet Open team. I have played multiple events in the series and I always liked them a lot. From now on, as a tournament director I want to contribute to the creation of the high level playing experience that Unibet delivers.''
Hallaert will introduce himself as a tournament director at the Unibet Open Copenhagen between August 25 - 28. It would be quite the story if the Unibet Open tournaments were directed by a WSOP Main Event champion after November.
If you want to participate in a Unibet Open tournament and meet a WSOP November Niner, you can qualify online through satellites at Unibet Poker.
Players registered to Unibet through Rakerace.com can also participate in 2 x $2,500 ($5,000) exclusive cash races in August to get the most value for their play. Rakerace.com players can also take advantage of the €200 first deposit bonus and the Unibet Loyalty Program which provides further returns.
Good luck and have fun at the tables!
