888Poker Ups the Stakes with the XL Autumn Poker Festival

This year’s poker game is still going strong, and 888poker is raising the stakes with its XL Autumn Festival. This event is the third XL series of the year, after 888poker’s Winter and Spring editions, so we have high expectations of it. Let’s see what players can expect from this poker room in September/October.

Unlike the Winter and Spring XL tournaments, which had overall guarantees of $2 million, this version has a prize pool of just $1 million. What makes this Festival so special despite its lower guarantees is that it only has 29 guaranteed events.

That means the average guarantee per event is the highest it’s been since 2021’s XL Autumn Series, at slightly over $40,000/event. There’s a clear focus on quality over quantity, which is sure to appeal to players. The Autumn Series started on September 22nd and will continue until October 1st.

The Mystery Bounty Main Event has a $500,000 guarantee, with a $250 buy-in. Besides the overall Main Event, there’s also a Mystery Bounty Mini Event, boasting a $25 buy-in and $100,000 prize pool.

Only one Pot Limit Omaha event is available, with most of the other events being No-Limit Hold ’em tournaments. A couple are Mystery Bounties and Progressive Knockouts tournaments, with a few traditional knockout tournaments also on the schedule. The buy-ins start at $8.80 and go up to $525 for high roller events like the Big Shot High Roller.

This poker brand has long been known to offer various tournaments and promotions to prepare players for their festivals. This time, 888poker introduces the Daily Gems promotion.

The Daily Gems promotion is available for a month, from September 9th to October 9th. Nine tournaments will be available, with buy-ins starting at $8.80 and going up to $55. Each week, players can enter these tournaments with the chance to win tournament tickets worth the tier’s minimum buy-in.

For example, participating in the following buy-in levels and winning will award you the tickets below:

• $8.80 - $16.50: $8.80
• $22 - $33: $22
• $55 - $109: $55

You can win one of each ticket every week, which is up to three tickets per week.
