The field included Joe Cada és Carter Phillips, but they were eliminated on the first day, Daniel Negreanu, Jerry Yang, Kathy Liebert, Scott Clements, Michael Katz, Dwyte Pilgrim and Barry Greenstein made it to the second day, but they didn't get to the final table.
The extremely short-stacked Govert Metaal managed to double up two times, so the first to leave the table came to be Santiago Nadal. Nadal went pre-flop all-in with pocket jacks against Ramdin's A K hand, the turn brought Ramdin the winning ace.
Joe Hachem
Not much later Jose De Noronha also took his bike after he pushed all-in. Hachem called with K J, De Noronha showed pocket sevens, which proved to be weak on the 2 5 K 9 4 board. In 15 minutes Hachem eliminated Metaal. Leskowitz and Kriegenbergh followed him soon, this is when the 3-handed game started:
Jeremy Ausmus - 7.135.000
Joe Hachem - 2.835.000
Victor Ramdin - 2.550.000
Ausmus losing his chip lead soon became short-stacked, he called Joe Hachem's all in on the J 6 K flop.
Hachem: K 7
Ausmus: J 9
The heads-up started. It only lasted 20 minutes, Ramdin quickly managed to take the lead, he doubled up with a flopped straight, Hachem's top pair + open-ended straight draw. Hachem also doubled up with a flopped straight later aginst Ramdin's second pair + gutshot combo). Ramdin managed to get some advantage, and in the last hand he had much luck as well. Both players were all-in pre-flop, and although Hachem showed the better hand, A K , Ramdin's A J paired on the J 8 A flop, the turn and the river didn't help any of them.

Ramdin won his 2nd biggest prize $500,000 of his life, the first being the 2006 WPT Foxwoods first place for $1,331,889.
