PokerStars officially announced on Friday that the single greatest European poker tourney, the EPT launches its eighth season on 2nd August, 2011. First stop is Tallinn, Estonia and then the show moves on to Barcelona, London, San Remo and Prague. A new stop is added to the schedule: Loutraki, Greece, the exact date of which being yet undisclosed.

In addition to the 2011 events, two 2012 stops are also released: the PCA and EPT Deauville.
“I’m really looking forward to the coming EPT season. My live game is something I want to work hard on improving, and I would love to have some deep runs this year. I plan to play in most of the events, including Barcelona, the PCA and London. Those stops will be big events for me," PokerStars Pro Viktor Blom commented.
9,000 players participated in total in EPT Season 7, in the colours of 86 different nations, amassing a total prize pool of around €50 million. The released stops of EPT Season 8 are as follows:
