The likes of Chris Moorman and Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier could be found among the 22 players who returned on Day 3 of WSOP Event #46 $10,000 NLHE 6-max. As a result, an exceptionally heavy final table was formed with the following 6 players:

First out was Mike Sowers at Level 27 (5,000/25,000/50,000), followed by Taylor ‘taypaur’ Paur and Tristan ‘Cre8ive’ Wade a level later. With the elimination of French pro Grospellier, Moorman and Ebanks remained to play heads-up that was to be concluded on Day 4.

Ebanks started with about a 3:1 chiplead, and he also took the first major pot. After that, the whole session was over within 10 minutes: they shoved on the {#}3 {#}Q {#}T {#}K board.

WSOP and WPT champion Michael Mizrachi had the chiplead over his 20 competitors on Day 3 of the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low event (WSOP #47). The setup of the 8-handed final table can be seen below (chipcount shows the start of 7-handed play with Thomas Whitehair being eliminated a couple of minutes into the finale).

Shortstack Gregory Jamison finished in 7th place, and then Gerard Rechnitzer, Scotty Nguyen and Scott Bohlman were railed. Mizrachi and Ahmed got to play heads-up after Abe Mosseri was eliminated in Omaha-8 by the latter.

The HU play lasted over 2 hours and, although Mizrachi started with a major lead, $1.500 Seven Card Stud event 5th finisher Ahmed came back and Mizrachi had only 300,000 in chips when shoving in the last hand on the {#}A {#}4 {#}J {#}T board.
