862 players registered for WSOP 2013 Event #15 $1,500 HORSE to play for a bit of the total prize pool of $1,163,700. On Day 2, 177 of them returned and the bubble of the 96 paying finishes burst, with 21 players remaining to march on to the final day of the event. Mark Klecan held the chiplead (518,000).

In the end, the following Final Table seats were drawn:

Seat 1: Frankie O'Dell – 545,000
Seat 2: Owais Ahmed – 320,000
Seat 3: Mark Klecan – 375,000
Seat 4: Scott Bohlman – 390,000
Seat 5: Rep Porter – 580,000
Seat 6: Tom Schneider – 880,000
Seat 7: Eddie Blumenthal – 485,000
Seat 8: Viatcheslav Ortynskiy – 515,000

Klecan ended up being the first to leave the finale; he called all-in on Viatcheslav Ortynskiy’s 3-bet with 42,000 in chips in an Omaha-8 hand, with Rep Porter also calling. The flop came {#}K {#}7 {#}4 , Porter check-called Ortynskiy’s bet. They both checked the {#}4 turn and Porter folded on Ortynskiy’s bet over the {#}3 river. Ortynskiy showed {#}A {#}3 {#}6 {#}5 , taking the low pot with 7-5 and the high with a straight. Klecan held {#}A {#}3 {#}Q {#}9 .

Eddie Blumenthal, Scott Bohlman, Frankie O'Dell and Porter departed the table after that; two times WSOP champion Porter shoved in a Stud hand against Ortynskiy.

Ortynskiy: {#}6 {#}7 {#}8
Porter: {#}T {#}Q {#}J {#}A

Ortynskiy got {#}4 on the fourth street against Porter’s {#}A to give them both gutshot draws. The 5th and 6th streets were neutral for both players, while the 7th gave Porter a pair of tens, which were cracked by Ortynskiy’s five to complete his straight.

It was still Ortynskiy who got eliminated in 3rd place, losing his hand to Tom Schneider.

The short heads-up was ended in a Razz hand. Schneider showed 7-5 and Ahmed mucked.
