What RakeRace Actually Pays Its Players

Affiliate sites are easy to start and easy to abandon, and most of them ask you to take their promises on faith. This page exists so you don't have to. It is the complete record of what our rake races, chases and leaderboards have paid out — how much, to how many people, in which month, at which poker room.

Across the twelve completed months from September 2025 to August 2026, RakeRace paid $348,247 in promotion prizes to 3,315 paid leaderboard places, over 69 separate promotions. That works out to roughly $105 per paid player and about 276 paid places every month. Since the site launched in 2007, cumulative promotion prizes have passed $1 million to more than 5,000 players.

Why our promotions page shows September only. The races and chases listed on our promotions page are the ones running right now — September 2026. Earlier months are not deleted: each keeps its own archived page with its final leaderboard, its payment structure and its settled payout. We made that split deliberately. An expired promotion presented as an available one is misleading no matter how good it looks in a list, so the live page shows only what you can still enter, and everything historical stays public and checkable at its original source. The table below is built from those archives.

How to read the numbers

• Prize paid is the figure published on each monthly archive page as "Total prize in [month]". Euro-denominated prizes at Betsson Poker are included at their converted value.

• Paid places is the published "Number of paid seats" — every leaderboard position that met the minimum requirement and was paid. A player who cashes in two different races counts twice, because two prizes were paid.

• September 2026 is still running, so its figures are expected totals, not settled payouts. They will be replaced with the settled numbers when the month closes.

• The autumn 2025 peak is real, not a presentation trick. Between September 2025 and January 2026 we ran weekly RedStar Poker races and the CoinPoker chase alongside the monthly chases. From February 2026 the calendar consolidated to one monthly promotion per partner room, with the BCPoker $1,000 race added in March 2026. Fewer promotions, larger average prize per player.

Why we publish this

Most of what a comparison site says about itself cannot be checked. A payout record can be. Every figure above traces back to a promotion page that was public before the race started, stayed public while it ran, and is still public now that it has settled — with the leaderboard and the payment structure attached.
