Yesterday the two young poker pros, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan and Daniel 'Jungleman' Cates continued their epic battle called the Durrrr Challenge 2. During the 1,440 hands, Dwan managed to win $172,000.

According to a recent chat between Dani ’Ansky’ Stern and Daniel ’jungleman12’ Cates, posted on 2+2, jungleman believes there is currently a major pause in Durrrr Challenge 2. No action taking place since 16th December, it might turn well into January, 2011 until we can hear from the challenge again.

2009 was a great year for online poker, Full Tilt Poker reached an all-time high concerning traffic. The site produced an astonishing annual growth rate of 110%. PokerStars was also doing very well with nearly 50% growth. The market overall had increased 40% in the preceding year. However, so far it seems only PokerStars was able to produce 3% growth, other rooms are in the red.
