Bwin.Party Leaves Several Markets

Bwin-Party released a statement in which they inform players that they will no longer be accepting players from 18 countries including Argentina, Finland, Greece, Poland and Hungary due to commercial reasons.

The once industry-leading Party Poker decided to introduce a new approach to their business model after the merger with bwin; bwin.party focuses its attention to developed markets. The company issued the following statement:

"Please note that due to commercial reasons, as of 30.04.2013, we will no longer be accepting new traffic for any of our brands from the following countries:

Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and the Ukraine."

This means that neither Bwin nor PartyPoker will accept new registrations from the above locations from 1 May. This concerns all the products offered by the companies, including sports betting, casinos, etc.

Current customers of Bwin and PartyPoker are not affected, they can still use the services and play at the poker rooms, so if you do not have an account yet, but intend to play in them in the future, make sure to register by 30 April.
