GGPoker Amnesty: A Second Chance for Previously Banned Players

GGPoker has launched a new initiative in September 2025 called the “Olive Branch” program, offering banned players a path back to the tables. The goal is to give those who have made mistakes – or feel they were unfairly banned – an opportunity to return under fair play conditions.

Applications are open until October 1, 2025. Players must submit a request in English to GGPoker’s security department, explaining in detail why they are seeking reinstatement. The application must also include proof of identity, proof of address, and a selfie with the ID document. Transparency is key: unclear or incomplete submissions will be automatically rejected.

Each case will be reviewed individually, with final decisions expected by November 1, 2025. GGPoker emphasizes that serious violations – such as the use of prohibited software or multiaccounting – will remain disqualifying factors.

This is the third time GGPoker has launched such an amnesty program, following similar initiatives in 2020 and 2022. The move signals the operator’s willingness to give a second chance to players ready to return to the game responsibly.

Within the poker community, the biggest question is whether some well-known names will be able to rejoin the platform.
