Three-time WSOP champion and heads-up specialist Doug Polk has announced a new online poker challenge — this time on ClubWPT Gold. Starting Monday, Polk will attempt to double his bankroll from $50,000 to $100,000, with every hand streamed live on his YouTube channel.
Although Polk is best known for his success in No-Limit Hold’em, he’s adding some PLO action into the mix for this challenge. The goal is simple: reach $100,000 — or go bust trying.
The timing coincides with ClubWPT Gold’s expansion into Canada this week, alongside the platform’s official launch of PLO games. ClubWPT Gold operates as the World Poker Tour’s official sweepstakes-based poker platform.
Polk will stream daily starting at 3:00 PM CET, with session lengths varying from short one- to two-hour broadcasts to extended sessions lasting half the day. Most of his play will take place at $10/$20 stakes across both NLH and PLO tables.
Known as a co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, Polk has focused primarily on content creation in recent years, with fewer appearances at the tables — making this challenge a notable return to high-stakes online action.
