The Winning Poker Network (WPN) launches its new Turbo Tuesday schedule on October 27. PokerKing players can look forward to more than 40 new weekly tournaments and a $500,000 guaranteed Mystery PKO.
The Winning Poker Network, which includes PokerKing and ACR Poker, is expanding its online tournament schedule. The new Turbo Tuesday program is primarily aimed at players who enjoy fast-paced multi-table tournaments.
Starting October 27, more than 40 Turbo Tuesday tournaments will be added to the network's regular schedule every Tuesday, featuring various buy-ins and starting times.
Late registration will be limited to a maximum of two hours across all events, allowing players to reach the money significantly faster than in traditional MTTs.
Weekly $500,000 Mystery PKO
The highlight of the new schedule is a $630 buy-in Mystery PKO with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and a top mystery bounty of $50,000.
The tournament features 16 starting flights each week, running from Wednesday through the following Tuesday. Players can qualify for Day 2 multiple times, with their chip stacks from successful flights combined.
The tournament's key structural details include:
- Buy-in: $630
- Guaranteed prize pool: $500,000
- Top Mystery Bounty: $50,000
- Starting stack: 6,000 chips (60 big blinds)
- Blind levels: 10 minutes
- Late registration: 8 blind levels, with unlimited re-entries
- Starting flights: End after Level 14
The first Day 2 will take place on October 27, with the tournament's final stage subsequently scheduled for every Tuesday.
How Does the Mystery PKO Format Work?
WPN's distinctive Mystery PKO format combines elements of traditional Mystery Bounty and Progressive Knockout tournaments.
On Day 2, each eliminated opponent awards a randomly determined bounty. However, the player responsible for the elimination receives only half of that amount immediately.
The remaining half is added to the winning player's own progressive bounty, which is visible to other players.
For example, if a player wins the largest $50,000 Mystery Bounty, they receive $25,000 immediately, while the remaining $25,000 is added to the bounty on their own head.
This creates interesting strategic situations, as players who collect large mystery bounties can become increasingly valuable targets themselves.
No bounties are awarded during the starting flights. Bounty payouts begin exclusively on Day 2.
Turbo Tuesday expands the Winning Poker Network's regular tournament schedule starting October 27, giving PokerKing players access to more than 40 new weekly events.
