Antonio Esfandiari won the most expensive tournament ever, the WSOP #55 $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop for $18,346,673.

Ray Bitar surrendered himself to the FBI. The ex-Full Tilt Poker CEO gave turned himself in as part of the deal concluded with PokerStars.

British poker player Barry Denson broke Phil Laak’s endurance record, playing 120 hours and 20 minutes straight. He closed his session with £850 in profits, which he offered to charity.

Matt Marafioti delivered our share of poker scandal that appeared to involve the Bandidos motorcycle gang cheating a number of high stakes players out of their money with the help of hackers.
