The seventh instalment of the PartyPoker Big Game takes place on 15 August, as part of the bwin WPT Merit Cyprus Classic at the Merit Crystal Cove Casino and Resort. The 12-hour $50/$100 No Limit Hold’em cash game session will feature a number of the most renowned poker pros, like Michael ‘The Grinder’ Mizrachi, accompanied by his brothers Robert, Donny and Eric. Moreover, Daniel ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Dominik Nitsche, Sam Trickett, Chino Rheem and Kelly Kim can also be expected to participate.
Different from previous seasons are the $50/$100 blinds with a $200 straddle if the player agree upon it, fitting the venue’s reputation for high stakes games. Watchers can follow the events of the half a day long poker fest live via a stream available with hole cards on the room’s Facebook page. In every three hours, one player will have to leave the table, as decided by the community’s votes. The empty places will be occupied by other players, with the possible newcomers including ‘Big Roger’ Hairabedian, Dori Yacoub, Jack Torbay, Malik Abu Nasir, Nicolas Chuity and Serif Zaka.
Anchors of the event will be well known poker broadcaster Jesse May and poker celebrity and accomplished presenter Kara Scott.
