Poker Comedy by Creators of ’Weeds’

The plot is about a group of resourceful students, including graduates from Harvard and MIT, who move to an apartment in Las Vegas in order to go after the $10 million first prize of the World Series of Poker. The fact that Salsberg does actually play poker might well lift the production above the average level of reality and standard of most poker-based attempts of late. He even has a Hendon Mob entry and numerous tournament cash finishes, although no WSOP participation so far.

‘Weeds’ is the biggest hit of these creative minds and might prove to be a solid basis for the success of ‘Whales’ as well. We definitely cannot wait for more details to surface.
