Max Lykov
The russian poker pro, Max 'decay' Lykov studied engineering in Moscow. During his student years, he deposited 2x$40, which he built into a huge bankroll by now. He started playing live poker since 2009, and became ultimately successful in it, his total live poker winnings almost reach $1 million. He started by winning the Red Sea Poker Cup in Egypt scoring $70,000. One month later he finished third at the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Shootout during the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas for $145,000, followed by his EPT Kijev win for $468,504.
Lykov continued his good series this year, winning the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $1.000 NLHE tournament, the Partouche Poker Tour Cannes €780 NLHE Short Handed contest, finishing 5th at EPT Monte Carlo €5.000 NLHE Heads Up game, 13th at EPT Snowfest, and finishing in the money at several WSOP events.
