A number of poker pros, including Daniel Negranu, have tweeted that Ryan Young died in a car accident on 30 July, the doctors unable to save his life.

Young has participated in live events since 2005 and achieved his greatest success two years later, winning one of the WSOP $1,500 NLHE events for $615,955. In 2008, he took down the Wynn Classic $10,000 NLHE tournament for $355,020. His total live tourney winnings are $1,676,043.
Young entered this year’s WSOP as well and finished ITM in three events. These were his last registered results.
The young player was considered an open, friendly person by his fellow players. Some of the pros tweeting about him include:
