Ongame is currently 10th in the leaderboard of poker rooms/networks, and have finally released their fast fold format poker game after the majority of online poker services have done.
Strobe Poker follows the industry standards. Players will instantly be dealt into a new hand after a showdown or a fold. Of course, players can also fold before it is their turn, and they will receive their new cards without the opponents noticing. Players are playing in a player pool, this is where their opponents are coming from.
Of course it is possible to view the hand after a fold, players have to click the 'view fold' button. If the hand is no longer of interest to us, clicking the 'New Hand' button takes us to a new table, and we are dealt a new hand.
A player can connect to a player pool only twice, but alteregos cannot sit at the same table. Player Points are given similarly to the standard ring games: for every $1 rake players are awarded 3.6 points, but the rake is lower in Strobe Poker games.
- Up to $0.05/$0.10 stakes - 5%
- At $0.15/$0.30 stakes and above - 4%
Strobe Poker is currently offered in $0.05/$0.10 and $0.15/$0.30 pools at 5-handed tables. Offering tournaments in this game type is not currently planned by Ongame.
Strobe Poker will be available on almost all mobile devices according to Ongame.
A few rooms of the Ongame Network already started to offer brand new promotions advertising the game type; our partner RedKings Poker offers a $15,000 Strobe Challenge from 11 March, and players will also be eligible to participate in the $2,500 Strobe Freeroll if they play in 10 raked Strobe Poker Hands.
The Strobe Poker hands will count towards the races offered.
