The $109 buy-in GPPT Online tournament runs as a two-day MTT, with Day 1 tournaments running from July 31, check out the details below!
Partypoker's Grand Prix Poker Tour series give players a chance to win huge prizes for a fairly low buy-in, the winner of the last, $400,000 guaranteed event took home $51,891 for his efforts.
A couple of months ago Partypoker has stated that they will be increasing the guaranteed prize pool of every GPPT Online by $100,000 until there is an overlay.
In June, a total of 3,892 players registered to the $400,000 guaranteed event , which resulted in an overlay, but Partypoker still decided to increase the prize pool of the next event!
This means that players will now compete for a share of $500,000 on the Final Day, to be held on September 5.
Players can qualify to the Final Day from July 31 through Day 1 tournaments. These tournaments run with a $109 buy-in and in a freezeout format. The tournaments end after 16 blind levels and players advance with their gathered chips to the Final Day.
If you are not happy with your stack, you can always enter another Day 1 tournament and try to run up a bigger stack, your best finish will advance to the Final Day.
If you don't want to participate in the Day 1 tournaments, you can buy-in directly for Day 2 for $665 + $35, in this case you will start with 200,000 chips.
