International WSOP Online: GGPoker’s 33 Bracelets and $60M Prize
The fourth consecutive year of the World Series of Poker Online is upon us, with GGPoker hosting it once again as the official partner of the WSOP brand. This tournament started on the 20th of August, and it’ll run until the 2nd of October on GGPoker.
2023 WSOP Online
The International WSOP series will place 33 golden bracelets on the line, with a total guarantee of $60 million spread across the guaranteed events. The prize pool is a major increase of $10 million more than the series last year. Like usual for the WSOP most of the events in the series do not have guarantees.
Events
The $25 million Main Event with a $5,000 buy-in is the star of the show. However, it doesn’t shine alone, as players can enjoy various other events. The $300 buy-in Gladiators of Poker opener places $2.5 million on the line, while the $10 million Mystery Millions with a $210 buy-in has a top bounty of $1 million.
Overall, nine events out of the 33 listed provide a guaranteed prize pool. Most events sport single-day structures, letting players re-enter twice to three times. However, some select ones sport multiple Day One flights.
However, missing from the schedule is the charity opener event present in all three previous editions, along with the Double Stack and Crazy Eight events.
Buy-Ins
Players should note that there are also increased buy-ins along with the increased guaranteed prize pool. The lowest buy-in is $100, which can reach up to $25,000 for events such as the GGMillion$ Super High Roller event. Of the 33 events, 15 have buy-ins lower than $1,000, while four have higher than $10,000 price tags.
Side Promotions
GGPoker also introduces a side promotion, the Continental Freerolls. Each of the 33 events will have a freeroll GGPoker host, rewarding a combined prize pool of $2 million. You must take part in the corresponding WSOP bracelet event to participate in the freeroll and can get prizes like tickets to the Bahamas winter stop or up to $100,000 in cash rewards.
Due to its nature as Continental freerolls, four regions are active in this promotion: Asia Pacific, Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Americas. It also means that if a player from a specific continent wins an event, all other players from the same continent who participated in that event become eligible for the free rolls.
Continental players will also become part of a leaderboard, allowing them to compete for rewards such as a WSOP Paradise VIP package.
Become Part of the Iconic Bracelet Series
This series first started in 2020 when WSOP and GGPoker began a collaboration after the WSOP series was canceled due to the pandemic. GGPoker hosts the international segment, while the WSOP brand hosts the domestic one in the US.
As such, you can use RakeRace.com’s exclusive $8,000 rake race in August to sign up with GGPoker and play more for less.
