888poker Live Events 2025: Excitement Awaits in Every Stop

888poker has revealed its live events for 2025. We’re excited to share all the details, as players can look forward to five 888poker LIVE stops and six UK Poker League (UKPL) stops. 

Grosvenor Casinos will once again partner with 888poker for the UKPL, ensuring a great year for poker in the UK and beyond.

The 888poker LIVE series in 2025 will include five exciting stops. The schedule kicks off in Madrid from January 12-19. Then, from March 13-23, Glasgow will host its first 888poker stop, replacing Coventry. 

Barcelona will follow with an event from May 8-18. London will hold its stop from September 4-14. To finish the year, there is a mystery event at a location yet to be announced.

The 2025 schedule is similar to 2024 but with some changes. Glasgow replaces Coventry, and Bucharest will not be on the tour this year. Still, the mix of great poker cities and a mystery location will add excitement.

The UK Poker League (UKPL) is back for a second year. This time, there are six stops planned. Portsmouth, Reading, and Liverpool are new locations. Coventry, Edinburgh, and Newcastle will also host events. The UKPL events are well-spaced across the year, offering many chances for players to compete.

Here is the UKPL schedule for 2025:

• January 21-26: Portsmouth
• April 1-6: Newcastle
• May 27-June 1: Reading
• June 17-22: Edinburgh
• September 30-October 5: Liverpool
• November 11-16: Coventry

Portsmouth, Reading, and Liverpool will replace Luton, Manchester, and Leeds from 2024. The continued partnership between 888poker and Grosvenor Casinos will help create great experiences. 

Last year, Amit Berkovich, VP of Poker at 888 William Hill, stated that the collaboration between Grosvenor Casinos and 888poker has created incredible live poker atmospheres.

888poker continues to offer online qualifiers for the 2025 LIVE events. Players can join the Ultimate Passport promotion to earn tickets. By completing simple challenges, players can qualify for any 888poker LIVE stop of their choice.

These challenges include:

• Play 25 tournaments with a minimum $1 buy-in.
• Win 120 hands in cash games.
• Win 20 BLAST games with a $1 minimum buy-in.

The 2024 and 2025 schedules differ significantly, with 2024 featuring 17 stops, including 888poker LIVE, UKPL, and CNP, whereas 2025 has a reduced total of 11 stops. Bucharest has been removed from the schedule, and the number of UKPL stops has also been decreased by one.

While the 2025 schedule is smaller, it provides several advantages for players, as the events are more evenly spread throughout the year, allowing participants ample time to prepare and strategise.
