Galaxy of Aces: 888poker Launches Its First Major Promotion of 2025

888poker has kicked off its first major promotion of 2025, the Galaxy of Aces, featuring over $300,000 in prizes, including freerolls, live event packages, and missions.

The Galaxy of Aces is a multi-month poker promotion running until May 17, offering players a share of over $300,000 in prizes.

The Galaxy of Aces follows 888poker’s traditional promotional structure, where players complete daily missions to earn entry into various freeroll tournaments. These missions are simple and accessible for all players, involving tasks such as participating in BLAST tournaments or winning hands in cash games.

This promotion features a cosmic theme, similar to the 2020 Galaxy of Freerolls campaign. Over the years, 888poker has introduced several themed promotions, including Trails of Fortune, Ace the Slopes, Snowmen Festival, and Royal Quest.

The last major promotion, Circus of Cards, was held in fall 2024 and also had a prize pool exceeding $300,000.

The Galaxy of Aces includes two types of poker missions:

• Cash Games: Win a hand with A-K.
• Tournaments: Play BLAST or other tournaments with a total buy-in of at least $5.

By completing missions, players gain access to three freeroll categories:

• Milky Way Freeroll: Runs three times daily with a $500 prize pool.
• Andromeda Freeroll: Runs weekly with a $3,000 prize pool.
• Whirlpool Freeroll: Runs monthly with a $25,000 prize pool. Entry requires tougher challenges, such as winning 100 cash game hands, knocking out 10 players in bounty tournaments, or winning 150 hands in PLO 5 & PLO 6 games.

The promotion also includes two 888poker LIVE London event packages. These can be won through the London Eclipse Freeroll, taking place on May 24. The tournament is open to the top 300 challenge-completers over the three-month period.
