BCPoker has introduced another major platform upgrade. Previously available only through a web browser on desktop, the online poker room now offers fully featured native applications for both Windows and macOS. Besides providing a more convenient way to play, the new client also adds several features that make multi-tabling significantly easier.
No Longer Limited to Browser Play
Until now, BCPoker players could only access the platform via a browser on desktop computers, although native mobile apps for Android and iOS had already been available.
With the latest update, dedicated Windows and macOS clients can now be downloaded directly from the poker room's website.
To install the software, players simply need to log in to their BCPoker account and click the "Download Desktop Client" button on the homepage. The website automatically provides the correct installer for the user's operating system.
Multi-Tabling Gets a Major Upgrade
The biggest improvement introduced by the desktop client is its enhanced support for multi-tabling.
In the browser version, players had to manually arrange every table. The new desktop application automatically opens each table in its own separate window, making table management much more convenient.
With just a few clicks, players can organize their tables using:
- Cascade view
- Grid layout
- A previously saved custom layout
These layout options are available from the upper-left corner of every table window.
BCPoker continues to allow a maximum of four tables to be open simultaneously.
Minor Interface Changes
The developers have also made a few small interface adjustments.
The button for returning to the lobby has been moved into the menu, while the previous shortcut for opening a new table has been removed.
Aside from these tweaks, the lobby layout, table design, and overall navigation remain virtually unchanged, meaning existing players can transition to the desktop client without having to learn a completely new interface.
Improved Stability and Performance
According to BCPoker, one of the key advantages of the native application is that it can make direct use of the computer's hardware resources.
As a result, players can expect:
- Faster table loading
- A smoother user interface
- Less risk of browser crashes or accidental page refreshes
- More stable performance during extended multi-table sessions
The improvements will be most noticeable for players who regularly play multiple tables at the same time.
An Important Step Forward
Although BCPoker is still a relatively young player in the online poker industry, launching dedicated desktop software represents an important milestone for the platform.
Most established online poker rooms have offered native desktop applications for years, and with this release, BCPoker moves one step closer to becoming a fully featured alternative for online poker players.
